The GS Transport team removed all commercial kitchen equipment including chillers and fridges, charbroiler, oven and fryers from a cafe sandwich shop over a weekend to enable the client to maximise trading before essential building work took place. Stock was securely packaged and stored, all items safely placed into storage for the required period and successfully returned once the work was completed. The teams pre-survey visit meant we were able to return site equipment exactly back to the same positions in the premises with maximum efficiency, the team in constant contact with the project manager to minimise losses and disruption for the business owner.

Catering equipment was partially dismantled: all glass frontage was removed for safe transportation. With all equipment disconnected and reconnected by an electrician, it was stored in G S Transports secure lockup facility. As the display units were so long and heavy, our team had to use the two vans tail lifts in tandem to securely lift them. All equipment was moved on pallet trucks and dollies to protect the new flooring that had been installed over the weekend. (nb. this case study was performed pre Covid-19 lockdown).
