G.S. Transport Ltd recently completed a complex two-day relocation for our long-term commercial client, Armstrong Vets Ltd, transporting essential veterinary equipment from their premises in Gloucestershire to a new site in Hartlepool.

This was no ordinary removal. The job involved the safe handling and transport of specialist, high-value veterinary equipment — including cages, refrigeration units, and surgical fixtures. These items are critical to clinic operations and required expert packing, loading, and transport procedures to ensure safe delivery.

🚛 Equipment & Packing

Our team carefully packed and loaded the equipment using professional-grade transit blankets, load locks, and protective strapping. The load included:

• Veterinary kennel banks and cages
• Examination room furniture
• Storage and diagnostic units
• Sensitive clinical equipment

Each item was meticulously secured and organised within our dedicated commercial removals fleet.

🛏️ Overnight Transit & Stopover

Due to the long-distance nature of the relocation, this move was delivered over two days, with an overnight stop en route. The journey was planned to minimise client disruption and maintain complete control over the safe transport of goods.

We made an overnight stop at a Premier Inn, allowing the team to rest and resume the move early the following morning, ensuring all equipment was unloaded and placed promptly at the Hartlepool site.
