Transport LTD  are able to undertake any relocation request -whether it’s for a single classroom or an entire faculty or department. We can carry out all types of school, college and university removals, in and out of term time, throughout the UK. We can fully accommodate working out of hours, or through the holidays to ensure minimal distraction to teaching staff and students alike. We understand the complexity of removals and relocations within schools, colleges and universities. Our teams have a wealth of experience and expertise in working on removals in academic relocations both on and off campus. Whether it is a full laboratory relocation, library move or the removal and storage of examinations desks and furniture our teams can plan and execute a move with no lost teaching time.

FAQ’s

Which of your services do you provide to classroom / academic institutions?

All of our core services are available to academic institutions in the North East of England. Classroom moves, room-to-room, classroom storage, space planning, A-to-B transport services, goods delivery etc, if you need support, we can work out a way to provide it.

Can I change my removal date once agreed?

We always try to be as flexible as possible with all of our customers, but in particular with out academic and charitable partners. If you need to change or alter a scheduled service date or type, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. If you contact early enough, we will try our best to satisfy any request.

Do you provide services to nurserys?

All of our staff are fully DBS checked, as well as highly trained and experienced. We are able to provide support services in a whole range of academic environments, including childcare.

We wish to schedule regular support, is this possible?

Absolutely. We provide a range of services for clients across the North East on a regular basis. Some of our clients we see every other day! We need to re-arrange during term time, can you work out of office hours?

We have vast experience working around, and with, other services and obstacles.  If you need to schedule us to work alongside another service, any time of the day, we can usually accommodate most circumstances: term-times, nightshifts, time-critical situations etc. As long as we can guarantee our team will work in a safe and secure environment, we are happy to work in all conditions.

Can you dismantle / reassemble furniture and equipment?

Yes we can, as long as it does not require specialist assemble or disassemble. The safest way to transport furniture which can be dismantled, is usually to disassemble for safety reasons whilst in transportation. Please contact us with any item specifics in advance and we will be happy to investigate any specialist requirements in advance.
